Here's the message from Karin that she sent to me after I sent everyone the four-sentence excerpt from the newspaper article concerning hair loss. Perhaps Karin has zeroed in on the "unknown cause" that's referred to in the newspaper article.

Sky, I heard that hair loss is due to cholesterol build up in the scalp. This was from a friend who read it in a medical journal. If that is true, then it surely might be related to cholesterol in arteries and heart??, and heart disease. hmmm....just something to think about as a possible third variable.
