A post-hoc analysis was conducted after each of 2 one-way ANOVAs yielded a significant omnibus F. All post-hoc comparisons were pairwise in nature.
Illustrates the use of the Scheffe procedure to make pairwise post-hoc comparisons. (See the findings relative to Research Questions 2, 3, and 4.)
A one-way ANOVA was used 10 times to compare 4 groups. Three of these analyses yielded a significant F. Scheffe's test was used to make pairwise comparisons in an effort to "probe" these 3 significant F-ratios.
